Summary:

William Henry Singleton was born in 10 August 1843 in New Bern, North Carolina. His father was probably William G. Singleton (1823-1881) and his mother was Lettice Nelson. He enlisted in the Union Army in 1863. He married Maria Wanton (1849-1898) in 1868. Their daughter, Lulu (1884-1956), married Collins L. Fitch (1882-1951) in 1905. They had eight children. Includes Hall, Nelson and related families.
